The single is part of the band's latest release, Outsider.

Three Days Grace released a video with live footage of their performance of the single "Right Left Wrong" from the album Outsider, released in March 2018.

Speaking about the work, drummer Neil Sanderson told Billboard that Three Days Grace's lyrics have always been about people who feel different from others and are comfortable with that. "[The music] is about deciding that you don't want to be influenced by things in your life, especially by the bad people in it," he said.

In their new work, the band teamed up with Rhys Fulber to transform their sound into something they had never done before. Meanwhile, Gavin Brown and Howard Benson remained as producers for Three Days Grace.
